Our Training Program
In collaboration with Munster Technological University, we provide migrant women with access to accredited, high-quality catering education that builds confidence and opens doors to employment.
Many of our participants arrive in Ireland with rich culinary skills, knowledge, and creativity, but without the formal qualifications recognised in the Irish labour market. Our programme bridges that gap. It combines practical, hands-on kitchen experience with essential training in areas such as food hygiene, health and safety, customer service, teamwork, and business skills.
The course takes place in a supportive and inclusive environment where women can learn, grow, and share their cultural heritage. Through the training, participants not only gain professional qualifications but also build friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Graduates are supported to move directly into paid employment, either within Sanctuary Catering itself or through our network of hospitality and community partners. This ensures that the training leads to real, lasting impact.
Our first cohort of students is currently enrolled and will complete their qualifications in partnership with Munster Technological University. We will begin recruiting for our next cohort in 2026.
