A social enterprise where migrant women in Cork turn their love of food into opportunity and connection. We are both a catering company and a training initiative that uses the power of food to build bridges between cultures and open doors to employment.
Our Journey
Our journey began with Saoirse Ethnic Hands, a social enterprise that empowers migrant women through training, creativity, and employment. Sanctuary Catering grew from that same spirit of community and solidarity. It was born from conversations at Cork Migrant Centre coffee mornings, where women spoke about their love of cooking and their dream of turning that passion into a pathway for work, belonging, and leadership.

Training Programme
An accredited catering course delivered in partnership with Munster Technological University. This program gives migrant women the chance to earn recognized qualifications, gain hands-on experience, and progress into sustainable employment in Ireland’s growing hospitality sector
